20-Minute Homemade Bread

Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon sugar

1 cup warm water

2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Lightly grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.

  1. Mix dry ingredients: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add wet ingredients: Pour in warm water and olive oil. Mix with a spoon or spatula until dough forms.
  1. Knead: Lightly flour a surface and knead the dough for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Shape into a loaf or divide into rolls and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the top is golden and the loaf sounds hollow when tapped.
  4. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
  5. Tips:
    Add herbs or garlic powder for extra flavor.
    This bread is best eaten warm, but can be reheated the next day.
